For the most part of my life back in my home country of Serbia, I have been surrounded by art in one form or another. Music has always played a huge role for me, and at the age of 9, I have started playing the piano and accordion. It was not so long before I took an acoustic guitar and started learning chords. On the other side, my father graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Pristina, at the Department of Sculpture, and he is practicing both painting and sculpting. This enabled me to understand the fundamental principles of composition in photography.
By experimenting with different photography genres, including product and concert photography, I have further developed skills that have helped me in shaping what course I wanted to take further. With my strong bond with the nature, I have found myself in practicing landscape photography—a genre that I see mostly as a therapeutic experience.
Since 2013 I have been living in Turkey with my wife Gulin and son Andrej Bora.
